The Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries and the Resource Development Office of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) seeks authors for a new training program for youth: Building Beloved Community.
This resource will provide ten hours of programming to make the work of building multicultural community relevant to the lives of today’s youth. Using activities that address different learning styles, multimedia, and testimonials from Unitarian Universalist (UU) youth, young adults, and adults, the program will address topics ranging from institutional racism to building cross-cultural relationships to our own UU racial history. Emphasis will be on interactive activities that call youth to use an anti-racist lens as they work to build beloved multicultural community within Unitarian Universalism and in the wider world. The application and more details are found here.
