Roundtable for YA Leaders – March 1

Posted by Carey McDonald // February 20th 2012 // Events and Opportunities, young adults // no comments

If you couldn’t make our first Young Adult Leaders Roundtable conference call on January 26, you missed out out a great opportunity to connect with young adult leaders across the country on issues that matter. How do young adult leaders support one another? What resources and supports are needed? How do we communicate? The next Roundtable discussion is coming right up on Thursday, March 1, to give young adults a monthly space to share the joys, hopes and challenges found in young adult ministry.

We embrace a vision of young adult ministry that is as diverse as the young adults we serve, and one that supports a variety of UU religious communities that engage our ever-evolving hopes and needs.

Here’s what’s on the agenda for the March 1 call scheduled for 8 pm EDT:

  • Success stories
  • Young adult Facebook presence
  • Congregations and Beyond
  • Planning for Justice General Assembly (Phoenix, AZ, June 20-24)

Hosted by the UUA’s Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries, the Young Adult Leaders Roundtable is open to all interested leaders of young adult groups. Want to join us? Got questions or comments? Email yayadirector@uua.org, and we look forward to hearing from you!
